Waiting for low tide

I have found after years of shooting waterfront scenics that nothing can match the magic of low tide - rocks are uncovered, you can get more dramatic shoreline, and, when using an ultra-wide angle zoom lens (which I never owned until recently), you can record sweeping vistas at very low angles. Although I use the 12-24mm mostly for Realtor work, it is a fun lens and a blast to use.

All files recorded at Hunts Point Government wharf using the D60.
