I knew this morning's lighting would not be exciting, as showers were forecasted. Since I was headed towards Mahone Bay for a desk duty shift, I decided to head out to Blue Rocks and see what might be happening. The tide was low, always a bonus, and my ancient-but-rugged D80 body can handle a few drops of rain that seem to land on it from time to time. The Nikkor 12-24mm is such a fun lens that it's hard to remember how practical it is for a wide-angle buff like me.
