I seem to have this affinity for shooting water, especially when it's moving. I rthink it's because we are unable to imagine how it looks at long exposures or very short ones, our eye is like a movie camera as it records our life. With a camera, you can easily show these extremes.
The AF-S 70-300mm VR is the ideal tool to isolate such images.
