I had originally thought the best of the autumn splendor had dissipated, but we had at least one more day to enjoy it. Despite a stiff breeze, I was able to use the 70-300mm VR and get some tight shots of the foliage, taking advantage of the backlight where possible.
It's time to move on to the next challenge, that being winter.
