















Autumn 2011 was pretty decent, despite the heavy rains and winds. I was able to capture its beauty and splendor but the time has come for that intermediate period between fall and winter that is rather mundane.
I took out the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 the other day and played around with the wide apertures that I have access to on the lens. This optic is a fine alternative to the very heavy and pricey Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 but its AF is a bit chattery and not as positive. However, as you can see, the image quality is quite impressive.
