We always get inundated with a ton of rain (and wind!) during the fall season, and it generally takes the best of the leaves along with it. I am happy that I nailed some nice captures this year as the season is quickly waning. After the recent heavy rains where a good 80 - 100mm of water drenched us, I knew the rivers would be overflowing - why not captures something local that has the potential to be spectacular? The MacKay's Falls were magnificent.
I was able to shoot very early before the sun got out, and didn't have to stop the lens so far down to get these files. D80 and both VR zooms.
